SmartFone FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions What do these Green, Blue & Black Dots Mean? Similar to what snow skiers have been using for years, we implemented a "Smart Dot" system to indicate the level of expertise required to follow a link.
What do all these Acronyms and Technical Terms used in your information mean? Browse the Glossary for full explanations. User Login (to Control Panel / User Dashboard / User Back Office) What should I do when I FIRST login to the User Control Panel? Select Quick Start Menu, the FIRST option on the User Dashboard Menu. Go through ALL the options. Depending upon which plan you chose, some of these options may already be implemented or may not be operational at all. Simply jump over them and go to the next item on the list. If you upgrade at any time then you will need to revisit the Quick Start Menu and check to see that you have performed each item on the list. If you have already done them then simply proceed to the next option on the list. Why do I sometimes have to login twice? Have you attempted to login and get on of the following messages... "Your sign-in session has expired! Please
resign-in using your username and password." If so, then you have most likely not logged out the last time you logged in. This is a safety measure to protect your information. This security feature is to protect you from logging in and forgetting to log out. Yes, we disable the login after 10 minutes of inactivity BUT, just in case you have walked away from your computer AND you have "remember passwords" enabled, we force you to re-enter your password again. Why do I pay SmartFone for my Affiliate Fees and Net2MAX/OZtell for my Phone Account? SmartFone is the Systems Integrator and Affiliate Program Manager. We integrate a number of different systems, service providers and product solutions into ONE management system. Net2MAX is simply ONE of SmartFone's service providers and as such you are their customer. On your behalf we manage a large proportion of the data required by a number of our providers (inclucing Net2MAX/1CC) to make registration & control, and hence your life, simpler and more efficient. What's the difference between a BRONZE Member and a BRONZE Affiliate? BRONZE Members are purely customers. Bronze Affiliates are those customers who have decided to help SmartFone acquire more customers and affiliates. SmartFone acquisitions are tracked via the JOIN page on their Member website. What's the difference between a BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD Affiliate? BRONZE Affiliates are those customers who have decided to help SmartFone acquire more customers and affiliates. BRONZE Affiliates only earn commissions on SmartFone ONE (1CC) subscriptions. SILVER Affiliates are eligible to earn additional income from the SmartFone Rewards Program. They may also be required to subscribe to special services such as SmartWeb (Sequential Email Autoresponders) to become eligible to earn those additional commissions. SILVER Affiliates also earn commissions on SmartWeb subscriptions. GOLD Affiliates are eligible to earn even more commissions in the SmartFone Rewards Program. Not only do they earn commissions on more levels of customers and affiliate sales they are also eleigible to earn from shop sales, which includes hardware, sortware and professional services. Becoming a GOLD Affiliate is ideal for those wanting to maximise their long term global residual income. Please refer tothe SmartFone Rewards Program for more details. How much money can I make as a SmartFone Affiliate? The SmartFone Affiliate Program is designed for virtually ANY person who wants to make a small, medium or large return on their investment of time and/or money. You could make a few dollars per month, some hundreds or dollars per month or many thousands. It all depends upon your activity and business skill. SmartFone provides you with most of the tools you need to produce viable business results and the training necessary to implement those tools. Much of this training can be applied to ANY business venture to maximize your returns. Income Disclaimer: SmartFone makes no guarantees as to how much money you can make. Any incomes shown or indicated are purely for example only. Individual results may vary. Income is dependent upon personal effort and business acumen. Luck and matrix position have no influence on your affiliate income. If you make no sales you make no income. Can a MEMBER upgrade to an AFFILIATE? Yes. Choose Upgrade Plan from the side menu in your User Control Panel and select Upgrade to Affiliate. Affiliates may pay a higher monthly fee than Members (Bronze Affiliate is free) but they are also provided with additional tools and services to assist them in promoting SmartFone, 1CC and themselves. What happens to my Affiliate Position & Status if I Cancel my SmartFone Account? If you cancel your 1CC subscription you also terminate your position in the Affiliate Program and therefore forfeit all future commissions. Due to the laws governing the traceability of telephone accounts and our historical data requirements, we cannot totally delete any account. Your position becomes NULL in the organizational matrix. Any personally introduced Affiliates and Members of this position do NOT roll-up to your Sponsor or Enroller. They do not appear on their frontline, however the zero sales from this position will effectively compress the matrix to eliminate this physical position but the commission rolls up to the next upline level. Can I UPGRADE, DOWNGRADE or CANCEL my SmartFone Affiliate Plan at any time? YES. Login to your Control Panel and select Upgrade/Downgrade from the menu. CANCELLED is simply a plan choice and your name remains in our database for historical reasons. Please note that if you downgrade from any plan you may reduce your outgoing cost but you may also reduce or completely lose qualification to affiliate commissions due to you. Whatever affiliate team you may have built will remain (and may continue to grow) but you will not earn any Affiliate commissions on them. If you upgrade back to Affiliate at a later stage you will resume earning your commissions. Can I REJOIN as a new Affiliate if I have previously cancelled my Affiliate position? YES. You may rejoin after six (6) months has passed since you terminated your previous Affiliate account. This is designed to stop people "poaching" Affiliate and Members from other Affiliates or to "swap sponsor legs" for any perceived business benefit. You must also be in good standing with us financially and ethically (no outstanding accounts or policy breaches). Any previous 1CC sales and Affiliate registrations (downline) that you acquired in the previous Affiliate position remain with the previous position (or rolled up to the next upline Affiliate) and CANNOT be transferred to your new position. Can I MOVE my (current/previous) Affiliate Team to a new Affiliate position? NO. See above. Can I JOIN or REJOIN in a previously terminated Affiliate position? NO. You, or anyone else cannot resume or acquire a terminated position in the Affiliate Matrix. Can I MOVE a new Affiliate after they have joined? When an Affiliate (or Member) registers at your website they are initially registered as being Enrolled and Sponsored by you. You can move this Affiliate (or Member) to another location (Sponsor) in your Affiliate Matrix ONLY if you have more than 4 personally Enrolled Affiliates AND ONLY within the first 60 days of their registration. After that, Affiliates and Members CANNOT be moved for any reason. How are Affiliate Commissions Paid? Affiliate Commissions are paid into your personal SmartFone Tracking Account. You can leave your commissions online in this account until you know where you want the money to go. You can periodically transfer your money into your PayPal Account and then use it to pay for SmartFone or other online services. How do I Qualify for Higher Affiliate Rewards? Bronze affiliates earn commissions on their personal sales of 1CC accounts only. If you want to earn more commissions then upgrade yourself to Silver, Gold or Platinum Affiliate, where you can earn increased commissions as determined by the affiliate commission schedule. How Do I get paid on Customers? Customers appear in your Affiliate matrix as Bronze Members. Your personally enrolled members and affiliates appear on your level 1 (frontline) and you are paid commissions on their purchases according to the affiliate commission program. Can Members Earn Rewards? YES. Members (customers) do not earn commissions but they CAN earn special thankyou rewards from time to time. Can Members build an Affiliate Team? YES. Members (customers) are automatically converted to BRONZE Affiliate when they enrol just ONE other member or affiliate. Is the SmartFone Affiliate Program a Legal Business Venture? YES! Firstly, you must understand that, by law, in every country of the world, you CAN NOT earn an income from ANY program that simply charges a membership fee without any product or service attached. The product or service MUST also provide true value in the open market. In order to earn rewards or commissions from ANY Affiliate Program (including SmartFone) services and/or products must be sold by you and/or by the Affiliates that you introduce and train. (eg. SmartFone ONE (1CC) Internet Phone Services, Analog Telephone Adapters etc) A good rule of thumb is... "would you pay for the the service anyhow, just to have the service, even if there was no commissions to be made?" This is the basis of ANY (legal) affiliate or direct marketing program. How and by what rules you are then paid is then up to the company you represent. |
